2024 红杏视频 Division II men鈥檚 lacrosse championship selections announced

DII men's lacrosse: 2024 selection show

INDIANAPOLIS 鈥 The 红杏视频 Division II Men鈥檚 Lacrosse Committee has selected the teams that will compete in the 2024 红杏视频 Division II Men鈥檚 Lacrosse Championship.

The championship provides for a 12-team tournament. Six teams from each of the two regions (North and South) are selected to participate in the championship. Except for the championship game, all games will be played on the campus of one of the competing teams. First round competition is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8.  The first round sites and team matchups are as follows:

North Region:

  • (1) Adelphi (14-2) 鈥 Bye
  • (4) *Pace (12-3) vs. (5) Mercyhurst (13-4)
  • (2) Mercy (14-1) 鈥 Bye
  • (3) *St. Anselm (10-4) vs. (6) Bentley (9-5)

South Region:

  • (1) Tampa (17-1) 鈥 Bye
  • (4) *Lewis (13-4) vs. (5) Maryville (MO) (13-4)
  • (2) Lenoir-Rhyne (15-1) 鈥 Bye
  •  (3) *Limestone (16-1) vs. (6) UIndy (11-5)

Note:  *Denotes host institution.

The eight remaining teams will play in the quarterfinals on Sunday, May 12. The winners of the quarterfinals will advance to the semifinals on Sunday, May 19. This year鈥檚 finalists will advance to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the championship game at Lincoln Financial Field, which will be played at 4 p.m. Eastern time, Sunday, May 26, and broadcast on . That game will be proceeded by the 

Division III championship at 1 p.m. Eastern time, which can also be seen on .  The Division I semifinals and championship are Saturday, May 25 and Monday, May 27 at the same site.
