馃&苍产蝉辫;Scores, bracket, history and updates from the DII women's lacrosse championship
All four semifinalists have had strong seasons much of the way. Every national quarterfinal matchup was the No. 1 vs. No. 2 seed in each region, with two No. 1s (Tampa and Adelphi) and two No. 2s (Slippery Rock and UIndy) advancing to the semis. Three of the semifinalists have won three of the last five national championships, with Tampa winning last year, UIndy winning in 2022, and Adelphi winning in 2019. Only Slippery Rock is in uncharted territory.

DII women's lacrosse championship semifinals, team by team
Adelphi. The Panthers are the winningest team in DII women's lacrosse history with a record nine national championships and a pair of runner-up campaigns. They also won their eighth NE10 conference championship this year, truly establishing themselves as the power in DII women's lacrosse. Ashley Kolomechuk leads the way 鈥 she has seven goals in two tournament games and her 100 points on the season are a top 15 mark in DII. They are equally talented on defense with Sonny Lionetti, the NE10 defensive player of the year, leading the way.
UIndy. The Greyhounds are back in the semifinals for the first time since 2022, when they won their lone national championship. In that semifinals matchup, they ended Adelphi's season in upset fashion and will look to do the same against No. 1 Tampa. Olivia Bladon 鈥 the GLVC midfielder of the year 鈥 leads the charge for the GLVC's No. 1 scoring offense, with her 82 goals second in the conference. The defense, which allows the fewest goals per game of the remaining teams and is No. 6 overall in DII, is anchored by GLVC first-teamers Hollis Rang and last year's GLVC freshman of the year, Amanda Hurry.
Slippery Rock. It has been quite the run for The Rock. They earned their first tournament bid in program history, won their first tournament game in program history against nationally ranked East Stroudsburg and then upset West Chester, a team that has been in 11 of the 23 national championship games, to reach their first semifinals. Paige Jenkins earned defense athlete of the year in the PSAC West and anchors a scoring defense that was top 10 in DII for much of the season. The offense was a balanced attack, piling up the second most goals per game (14.5) in PSAC play this year.
Tampa. Head coach Kelly Gallagher is the only coach the Spartans have ever known, hired to start the program in 2014. She took the Spartans from perennial sub-.500 teams to an annual tournament contender and now defending national champs. They've won three straight SSC titles and are looking to win two straight on the national level, the first team to repeat since Adelphi did it in 2014-15. Peyton Howell 鈥 who is top 10 in goals per game and scored in DII 鈥 was the SSC attacker of the year; Lexi Waters was the SSC defensive player of the year; and Savvy Barbosa was the SSC goalkeeper of the year. All of those honors were accomplished in a conference that had five teams finish in the top 10 of the coaches poll. This team is loaded at every level and will be tough to dethrone.
