2025 红杏视频 DIII softball championship: Selection show info, bracket, schedule

East Texas Baptist wins the 2024 DIII softball championship

The 2025 红杏视频 DIII softball tournament will begin with a selection show on Monday, May 12 at 11 a.m. on sifoeeprocess.com. The show will reveal the 64-team field and regional sites. The 2025 tournament will consist of two selection pools: automatic qualifiers, who've won their respective conference tournaments, and at-large berths.

Matchups begin Thursday, May 15 with the regional round and continue through the finals, ending Wednesday, June 4 at Inspiration Field in Bloomington, IL.

2025 DIII softball championship history

The DIII softball national championship dates back to 1982, with Eastern Connecticut State claiming the first national title over TCNJ and going undefeated in the finals series. Most recently, East Texas Baptist won the 2024 DIII softball national championship, securing its first title since 2010 and second in program history. They beat Belhaven, 9-5.
