Two more national seeds fell on a decisive regional Monday, with Ole Miss and Southern Miss joining the list of seven hosts who were eliminated. Here's how it happened.
Murray State stuns No. 10 Ole Miss, advances to first super regional in program history

Murray State took a punch on Sunday night, falling 19-8 to No. 1 Ole Miss 鈥 a beating most four seeds would've been unable to overcome heading into a Game 7 elimination matchup the next day.
But this Racers' team proved their bats are legit, piling five runs on the Rebels by the third inning, and putting the pressure on the regional hosts in front of their home crowd.
Murray State broke the game open in the middle innings, pouring seven on the Rebels in the fifth, sixth and seventh to control a commanding 12-3 lead heading into the stretch. Ole Miss did its best to answer, pushing eight across home plate in the seventh and eighth innings to cut the lead to just one, but the Racers' early barrage proved too much for Ole Miss as Murray State dogpiled on the Rebels' mound to celebrate history.

While 12 runs is impressive any night, Murray State did so without a home run tonight, driving runners in with contact to keep the train moving. The Racers had four bats with three or more hits, and eight of their nine hitters recorded at least one RBI.
The Missouri Valley Conference champions compiled 42 runs in four games in Oxford 鈥 one against the ACC regular season champs and three against the SEC tournament runner-up. The Racers are red hot, and a team that no one should want to see come Friday in the supers.

Miami (Fla.) holds off late rally from No. 16 Southern Miss

No. 3 Miami soared to the top spot of the Hattiesburg Regional, taking down No. 2 Alabama on Day 1 and cruising past No. 4 Columbia on Day 2, 14-1, after the Ivy League champions stunned the Golden Eagles on opening day.
But the Canes took a hit from the No. 16 national seed on Sunday night, falling 17-6 as Southern Miss forced a Game 7 on Monday night. However, Miami's arms turned it around in the elimination game as right-handers Reese Lumpkin and Will Smith combined for 6.1 innings of two-run ball.

Miami closed it out with a flyball as the four-time MCWS champions won their first regional in nine years.
