With the 2025 DI women's lacrosse tournament here, let's break down some of the top offensive players competing.
This list is in no particular order 鈥 and many more names could have been added. This is just a handful of a large pool of remarkable talent looking to take home a title in 2025.
TOURNAMENT: 2025 红杏视频 women's lacrosse championship: Bracket, schedule, results
Madison Taylor, Northwestern
It's no easy feat filling the shoes of back-to-back Tewaaraton winner Izzy Scane, but Taylor has certainly lived up to her lofty expectations. She has already set a career-high with 125 points this season, leading all of DI, and the junior needs only 10 points in the tournament to surpass Scane's record-setting 2023 season, when she tallied 134 points.
Taylor is firmly in the mix to bring yet another Tewaaraton back to Northwestern as the Wildcats look to reach a third straight title game.
Rachel Clark, Boston College
Clark is a scoring machine, leading the nation with 91 goals 鈥 two more than Taylor's 89. Clark and Taylor are the only two in DI to eclipse 80 goals this season, showcasing the talent production of the two schools that have taken home the past four Tewaaraton awards.
The Virginia transfer is in her second year with the Eagles, posting back-to-back 100-point seasons with Boston College. She will look to lead the program to its eighth consecutive national title game as the Eagles pursue back-to-back championships.
Chloe and Ashley Humphrey, North Carolina
The Humphrey sisters lead the tournament's No. 1 seed and only undefeated team in the country (18-0). It seems after two years of dominance from Northwestern and Boston College, the Tar Heels have returned as a top threat in the sport. Even with a gauntlet of a schedule, UNC remains unblemished after taking down Boston College for the second time in the ACC tournament championship.
Ashley joined her younger sister Chloe in Chapel Hill last season after spending three years at Stanford. Chloe redshirted her freshman year, but the Humphrey connection has blossomed into one of the most lethal in the sport in 2025. The third sister, Nicole, also transferred back to UNC after spending an injury-riddled 2024 with Southern California. Entering the tournament, Ashley leads UNC with 98 points (70 assists and 28 goals). Chloe sits on her heels with 97 points, having almost a direct opposite split of 73 goals and 24 assists. Nicole has six points this season, still dealing with the foot injury she received in Los Angeles.
Ashley broke the DI single-season assist record in 2022 with Stanford (88), and her vision has continued to impress with her sister by her side. It has been an incredible connection to watch all spring, and the three sisters will look to finish out the historic season with a title.
McKenzie Blake, Princeton
Blake is a pure scorer. She is seventh in the nation in goals with 73, tallying just seven assists on the season. She has 24 more goals than anyone else on the Tigers squad, asserting herself as the clear top option in the Princeton offense. This is Blake's third season leading her team in goals, scoring more than 30 goals in all four of her seasons.
This is the Tigers' fifth tournament appearance in six years, winning their first round games in all appearances since 2017. This is an experienced team led by an experienced scorer, and they certainly are a dark horse candidate to bring home a title for the first time since 2003.
Kassidy Morris, UMass
Morris has put together a historic season for the Minutewomen, shattering their single-season goal record by 10 by totaling 77 heading into tournament play. She is just one of eight players who reached the 100-point mark this season. She has the ability to take over games, recording four or more goals in 14 games.
UMass won the inaugural women's lacrosse championship in 1982, and the Minutewomen have not been back to the title since then. With Kassidy leading the nation's third-ranked scoring offense at 17.17 goals per game, UMass will be a tough team to knock out.
Georgia Latch, Loyola (Maryland)
Latch is the only one rivaling Madison Taylor for the most points in DI. She sits three back of the Northwestern star with 122. Latch hasn't quite reached her career high of 62 goals from last season, but her 69 assists are second in DI, just one behind Ashley Humphrey. She and Chase Boyle have formed a dangerous connection for opposing defenses, totaling almost 200 points between the two of them.
This is the Greyhounds' seventh straight tournament appearance, so this is a squad that has the experience and the veterans in Latch and Boyle to make a push for their first title in program history.
Allison Reilly, Army
Reilly topped her 95-point sophomore campaign with 100 points entering the tournament. This is her second straight season tallying 50-plus goals and 40-plus assists. She has led the Black Knights to their second tournament appearance in program history, both coming during Reilly's career.

She closed out the season scoring four or more goals in eight out of nine contests. Reilly is one of the hottest scorers in the country, and the Black Knights should be well-positioned to earn their first 红杏视频 tournament win in program history.
