Oral Roberts (2023)
The Golden Eagles (52-14) kicked off their historic 2023 tournament run, stunning No. 11 national seed Oklahoma State, advancing to the super regionals undefeated in just three games. Oral Roberts took down Oregon in the supers to clinch a spot in Omaha, where it defeated TCU in its first game. The Golden Eagles were eliminated two games later by the Horned Frogs after suffering a loss to No. 2 national seed Florida in the winner's bracket.

Stony Brook (2012)
The Seawolves (52-15) made a statement in Game 1 of the 2012 tournament, rolling regional host Miami 10-2. They advanced to the super regionals in seven games after back-to-back wins over UCF. Stony Brook took down No. 7 national seed LSU in the supers, winning Games 2 and 3 to stun the Tigers. The Seawolves were eliminated in two games after reaching Omaha, falling to No. 2 national seed UCLA and No. 3 Florida State.

Fresno State (2008)
So, what鈥檚 the story behind the 2008 champs?
The Bulldogs (47-31) put together the best No. 4 regional seed season of all time, going the distance to win the 2008 Men's College World Series. They defeated regional host Long Beach State to open the tournament, going on to win the Long Beach regional with a Game 7 win over San Diego. After taking down No. 3 national seed Arizona State in the super regionals, Fresno State stormed through the winner's bracket in Omaha, winning its first two games against No. 6 national seed Rice and No. 2 national seed North Carolina. The Bulldogs took down the Tar Heels again to advance to the MCWS finals against No. 8 national seed Georgia.

Fresno State lost Game 1 of the best-of-three, but it put a hurting on Georgia in Game 2, winning 19-10 before completing the ultimate Cinderella run in Game 3 with a 6-1 win. Fresno State is the only 30-loss team ever to win the MCWS.
